Learn IPTV Network

IPTV ( Internet Protocol Television ) is a system where digital television service delivered using Internet Protocol over a network infrastructure of which include high-speed connections. IPTV stands for Internet Protocol TV. An IPTV system used in the business of allowing hundreds of TV channels and video to be viewed on an unlimited number of TV and PC are connected to the existing data network

What is IPTV network? 
IP / TV is a new development in client- server communication software that makes high -quality video broadcast ( equivalent full-motion video in real time simultaneously) to the user window through the existing data network
Some of the features that are owned by the IP / TV:

1. IP / TV can broadcast live or prerecorded digital video educational programs, commercial, etc., and can do the capturing and transmission of programs from various source.
2. IP / TV can do the scheduling / scheduling programs to fit the needs of owners of information and audience. Viewer can choose courses from a listing to be seen.
3. IP / TV can provide services that are economical but not compromising the quality of service. This is because transmission bandwidth -efficient technologies, ie IP multicasting.
4. IP / TV supports standard formats MPEG ( Motion Picturre Experts Group ) to provide high quality, full-motion video. This feature is in addition to the standard CODEC ( compression / decompression ) to ensure optimum image quality in accordance with the specifications of the application and available bandwidth.
5. When compared with conventional tutorial method, IP / TV is more efficient because it does not have to pay the instructors, the cost of relatively fewer print materials, no need to hire a special seminar room ( because the IP / TV can be accessed by any connected in a single table for LAN / WAN ).

Essentially, IPTV has two components

1. Internet Protocol ( IP )
Affirming the packet format and address scheme, because almost all networks combine IP with a more sophisticated protocol. Depending on the vendor, UPD (User Datagram Protocol) is a protocol commonly used. This protocol connects the data source and destination IP connect information and use this information in a system. But there is no direct link between the source and the recipient of information


2. Television ( TV )
Television is a medium to communicate the work to deliver pictures and sound. Everyone must know the TV, but here is more known for its television services and programming required Linera ( on demand ).


When both are combined, the IP TV = IPTV, which is a medium for communication of images and sounds that run on the network and the Internet Protocol. IP network in IPTV is not a public IP network, but private IP network

Definition IPTV Service 
IPTV is a multimedia service consisting of television programs, video motion pictures ), audio (voice ), writing ( text),
graphics (still image ) and the data are transmitted to subscribers via a closed network based on IP.



IPTV is not just TV broadcasts are routed through the internet and can be accessed by anyone, without any guarantee of the provider.


IPTV organizers assure customers of quality ( QoS / QoE ), security and reliability of the interactive capabilities of the services provided by IPTV provider until the service is received by the customer


In IPTV services, all service activities either video or "interactive via an IP platform " supplied to customers with a " fixed broadband networks " (fixed broadband network ) xDSL or FTTH which can be enjoyed by customers through a standard TV set with an IP - STB.


How IPTV is built


Tools and materials required
• System: min 486 100 Mhz or 60 Mhz Pentium with 16 MB RAM ( note: for NT -based systems preferably with 32 MB RAM ).
• Operating system: Windows 95 or Windows NT ( IP / TV is not running for Macintosh )

• Monitor: VGA
• Video card: Video adapter card that supports 256 colors or more. Recommended also local bus that is compatible with PCI or VESA with 1 MB of memory.
• Sound card: Compatible with SoundBlaster (16- bit preferred)
• Network adapter: 10 or 100 Mbps Ethernet connected to the network.


How to install 
When we have installed an older version of IPTV client, must be un-install it before installing this new version. If not done un-install, then this new version may not work properly 
Step by step installation
1. Double click on the icon for the shortcut to setup.exe in the folder window IPTV and IPTV client installer will start.
2. The installer will to our prompts for user name and company name. We must complete all questions to continue the installation
3. Installer IP / TV will guide us to complete the installation and if we want all optionnya is the default, then the client IP / TV is placed in :\IPTV
4. Once installation is complete, we can move the folder from the desktop with IPTV clicked once again on the right mouse button and choose Delete from the pop - up menu




 Using Viewer IP / TV
1. To start the viewer IP / TV, run the Windows 95 Start Menu and select

Precept IPTV viewer > IPTV Viewer 1.1.1
Then the following window will appear
